Make the Lap Band a sucess!
....lap band, water, diet after surgery, band success....
all of these things go hand in hand, you can not have one with out the other......And H2O is one major key to your weight loss!
You are probably saying WHAT???? But it is true! If you were a daily H2O drinker before, than this news or new habit will probably be easy for you, if you were not, well then start liking it now!
It is going to be extremely hard to adjust to drinking water or non-caloric non-carbonated drinks after surgery if you do not prepare yourself now.
The average person should drink no less than 64 ounces of water per day. Anything less than that and your kidneys work harder to filter out the waste from your blood. If they have to work too hard, they will start relying on your liver to help out!
Overweight people should drink more than 64 ounces per day! A good key to go by is to take your weight in pounds and divide it by 2 that number equals the amount of water you should drink in ounces.
For example, if you weigh 250 pounds, divide that by 2 and you get the total number of ounces of H2O you should drink per day:
250 pounds / 2 = 125 ounces
