Low Carb Diets!

This diet has been referred to in so many ways; Atkins, Low Carb, South Beach Diet, high protein, Protein Power diet, Sonoma Diet, Sugar Buster Diet, and the list goes on and on.

How exactly is this diet different from the atkins diet anyway? Does any one know, raise your hand if you do, because to me they are all the same.

This diet is all about blood sugar (blood glucose). Basically, we use this diet to keep our blood sugar normal and stable.

Great for diabetics!

It is another way to achieve ketosis, which is where our bodies are using fat for energy instead of using the energy from high carb foods, such as bread, pasta and starches.

Will you loss weight using this method? Absolutely, but then again you will run into a problem when you start introducing carbs and starches back into your daily diet. Your body will automatically start packing the pounds back on if you do not burn more energy than you are taking in, in the form of carbohydrates and/or starches.
